Experienced Welder

Our ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years of applicable TIG, MIG, and stainless welding experience. Must have knowledge and understanding of specific weld wires and controls of equipment for different materials and applications.  Must also know how to accurately layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to welding, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, or tape measure.  Must be able to proficiently read and interpret blueprints, welding process specifications, welding symbols, and job packet material.  Must have the ability and willingness to follow directions and work independently.

Physical requirements include welding components in all positions including laying, standing, bending, twisting and reaching.  Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.  This would include frequently lifting of objects up 20-70 lbs. or operating a crane for heavier materials.

Responsibilities of the position include: Metal fabrication of parts and machinery using various welding, cutting and grinding techniques.  Candidate must be able to weld components in all positions with good penetration and quality while also monitoring the fitting and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material. Must be able to safely operate various types of shop equipment such as band saw, roll, punches, and shears as well as a forklift and overhead crane.  Examine and measure work pieces to detect possible defects to ensure conformance with specifications. Report all non-conforming material to the area Lead immediately.  Every Member of ProForm must comply with standards and procedures of ProForm’s Health and Safety Manual and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.  They must complete housekeeping duties in their areas when necessary.  Other tasks may be assigned from time to time so flexibility and a willingness to learn is crucial.

Welder- Trainee

Our ideal candidate has some experience with TIG and MIG welding (including setups), grinding various metals, reading blueprints, as well as experience using basic hand tools, power tools and measurement devices (such as tape measure, calipers, and squares). Our candidate must possess strong mathematical, multi-tasking, and communication skills as well as a willingness to learn by listening and following instructions.*An ambitious candidate who does not have these abilities or experiences could be taught these skills through a mentorship opportunity.

Physical requirements of a Welder include: The ability to frequently lift and move objects averaging 20-70 lbs. It also requires frequent bending, stooping and twisting as well as standing for the duration of the shift.

Ability to safely operate a crane as well as a forklift upon completion of the company training program.  Welders must ensure that their assigned work is understood prior to beginning. A designated trainer will be assigned to this position for questions and assistance.  Every Member of ProForm must comply with standards and procedures of ProForm’s Health and Safety Manual and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.  They must complete housekeeping duties in their areas and must complete their assigned work (including paperwork) within the given timeframe and according to specifications. Other tasks may be assigned from time to time so flexibility and a willingness to learn is crucial.

CNC/Manual Machinist

Our ideal candidate has 2 years of experience operating a drill press, lathe, and milling machines.  Candidate must be quality-minded and have the ability to machine parts accurately and economically

Responsibilities for the position include the set-up, operation, and programming of a CNC vertical mill machine and CNC lathe.

Physical requirements of a Machinist include: The ability to frequently lift and move objects averaging 3-30 (up to 60 lbs. occasionally) with the option to use a crane as needed. It also requires frequent bending, stooping and twisting as well as standing for the duration of the shift.

Business Support Specialist

Our ideal candidate will be organized, multi-task oriented, have a great mathematical aptitude, be mechanically inclined, possess excellent communication & time management skills, and be committed to being a team player.  We prefer someone with past experience working in a metal manufacturing environment and has experience with process improvement implementation initiatives.  Must have a working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word, Global Shop experience is a plus.

Responsibilities for the position include Issuing material and assisting with inventory control processes including continuous improvement initiatives, and performing periodic cycle counts. Demonstration of a strong sense of Customer Service while answering incoming company calls.  Assist Purchasing Department as needed.
